Our cacao comes exclusively from the San Vito Chocolate Farm, where 19 acres of mature cacao trees produce up to 13,000 pounds of heirloom-quality beans each year. Certified by the Heirloom Cacao Preservation Fund, our beans are known for their exceptional quality and rich, layered flavors; notes of fruit, deep chocolate, and earthy undertones. Born and raised just miles away, Giovanni grew up alongside the farm’s rhythms, and for over 40 years, he’s been at the heart of it all. He carefully tends to the 19 acres of mature cacao trees and the rich diversity of the forest, using traditional, sustainable farming methods passed down through generations. The Quantum sanctuary is a 67-acre off-grid farm in San Vito, Costa Rica. The farm produces up to 6,000 kilos of heirloom quality cacao beans annually. The land features tropical fruits and coconut palms. It includes 8 acres of primary forest and a bamboo plantation. The farm is solar-powered and has two natural springs. The property includes a cacao processing facility, yoga studio, wood cabin, and original farmhouse that features 43 acres of pasture.

Bilan Wood
Bilan Wood, known as Chakra, is a regenerative agriculture practitioner and natural builder working at the intersection of ancestral wisdom and ecological innovation. With expertise in permaculture design, bamboo cultivation, and beekeeping, he integrates tropical food forest design and diverse plant guilds into Quantum Cacao’s organic cacao farm, building soil fertility, biodiversity, and long-term resilience. His bamboo and natural building work shapes the farm’s structures themselves.
Adriana Ayales
Adriana Ayales, founder of Anima Mundi Apothecary, bridges traditional remedies from Central and South America with modern wellness. Her apothecary offers over 200 sustainably sourced herbs, supporting ethical farming and fair trade practices. Adriana’s mission is to create globally beneficial remedies while promoting sustainable business growth.
Dolores “Lola” Venegas
Dolores Venegas, known as Lola, is Cafe Manager at Quantum Cacao, where she brings her passion for hospitality and cacao culture to every cup and every conversation. She has a natural gift for creating welcoming spaces, and she makes certain that each visitor to the Quantum Cacao cafe experiences the warmth, quality, and intention that define the brand.
Ryan Schaffer
Ryan Schaffer is the Director of Finance at Thermal, a venture capital incubator, and a UCLA Anderson MBA graduate. He merges his passions for yoga and golf into PowerGolfYoga, combining fitness and mindfulness. A lifelong entrepreneur, Ryan co-founded HealthyNose, a medical device startup, and enjoys exploring various creative and fitness pursuits.
